Put it this way, I’m an atheist and I have religious friends who partake in religious practices. I don’t personally really care about stuff like that, but if one of them goes up to me and says “happy [insert practice here]”, I’m not going to respond with “I don’t care” If I truly don’t care, I won’t think about it too deeply and probably will just forget about it. I have boundaries for sure, e.g. if they’re pushing for me to partake in their practice in some way I’ll turn them down, but they’re not crossing my boundaries by just talking about their practices or celebrating it in front of me. From what I gather, responding to “merry christmas” with anything other than “merry christmas” definitely upsets people and makes them paint you as some enemy of the Woodsboro High School Class Of 2025 shirt so you should to go to store and get this holiday OP claims to have a trans gf so i doubt theyre anti-lgbtq. They probably responded to “happy pride!!” with “ok”, got labelled as a homophobe and thats why theyre on reddit salty about it

Woodsboro High School Class Of 2025 shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I have never seen a problem, with a smile and “you too”, being very hard of hearing that’s how I respond to most things people randomly say to me. Unless I can see what they are saying. Exactly – driving past a funeral is one thing, but if you got out & said ‘I don’t give a Fuck about dead people’ everyone at the Woodsboro High School Class Of 2025 shirt so you should to go to store and get this funeral would be reasonably pissed at you. Saying being indifferent helps on side is implying they are choosing a side, if they did force themselves to care they would just be helping another Status quo If your girlfriend is trans then yeah you need to give a fuck. Half the states in this country are trying to take away her right to exist, send her to mental institutions and make it a crime for her parents to support her. Not caring is ignorant
