That’s a bit hyperbolic – 538 had Hilary with a 2/3rds chance to win, trump’s win was unexpected, but going from that to polls are no better than random seems inaccurate Right now the Winter Mood Snowy shirt moreover I love this polls that get most widely reported are the ones with the most shock value. Polls now don’t really measure much except name awareness in any case. It’s like scores in pre-season games. The NYT poll from this week was very well done with a big sample size. Its thought to be among the highest quality of polls, and it focused specifically on swing states. So It’s results would have gotten a lot of attention no matter what it said. And the averages of all polls taken as whole definitely indicate a clear trend of trump increasing in favorability

The NYT poll, if we’re thinking of the Winter Mood Snowy shirt moreover I love this same one, was conducted entirely by landline. That’s a big red flag for accuracy because so many Gen Y and Z don’t even have landlines. This isn’t just theoretical, it’s been demonstrated that conducting polls that way moves the needle in a conservative direction. I dont trust the quality of the polls. I heard that swing state Blacks were supporting Trump by 20 points and young voters by like 5 points. I dont think young people respond to polls which is why the red wave mid term was a ripple. Polling from a year out isn’t too accurate, we’ll have a better understanding of candidate leads by the summer. While that’s usually true when it comes to new candidates I think we have to consider that this is a unique election that will have two people that have both been president going against each other. We know what we are getting with both of them.
