Then she’d obviously need a separate blanket or something, but could stay in the same bed at least I must sleep with a fan as well, but it’s to mask my tinnitus. My wife can’t stand the noise, but she just uses earplugs. You don’t deserve to be spoken to that way, especially over something so unimportant. Don’t compromise your sleep or self-worth over a relationship. If you both can’t sleep no matter what you do, you need different rooms. Sounds harsh but you both need to sleep. Y’all have to find something that works for the both of you, cause sleep is imperative. I didn’t read the post tbh but yeah you have to strive for both parties to be satisfied here.

You both have to compromise where you can. If she has sensory issues get a quieter fan or run it on a lower speed, reposition it, run the AC lower, etc. Or you may just need a new fan. Components that hold them together can wear out which cause a lot of weird vibration noises that can be disruptive to someone who’s not used to them.
