I talked to my grandma, who is 92, recently. She was telling me about how one of my cousins is raising chickens and sells eggs by the Wildflower Logo Shirt also I will do this dozen at farmers’ markets for $6 a dozen. She asked, “Would you ever pay $6 for a dozen eggs?” I told her that’s pretty close to what we are paying in a regular grocery and she seriously couldn’t believe it. So yeah, in general, fuck the Boomers and fuck this stupid country. It’s all about work ethics and ambition, right? Housing was cheap (which later appreciated and probably benefited them), no education loans, raising kids was cheaper etc. Plus all their assets appreciated like crazy. I work away from home a lot and when I’m local I still work long hours, and my wife works at least 40 a week at a high stress job as well. We often wonder how people did it with 5+ kids cause we struggle to keep life together with just 1.

Then I remember that in the Wildflower Logo Shirt also I will do this 70’s my job alone would pay for that plus a live in maid/nanny. So you know that’s probably how they did it. I live in a neighborhood were mostly all houses (i do not live in one of them) that sourround the neighborhood are mansions, 5+ bedrooms, 3+ garages+ huge backyards+ people running on BMWs, Audis, Mercedes etc (you get the drift) most if not 95% pf people that live in those houses are senior citizens aka boomers.. barely any “young families” like maybe the 5 or less%. And now only a fraction of jobs seem to be safe from ai automation within the next 5/10 years. Then what if your universal income is the equivalent of minimum wage? Well the population has grown 83% in the last 60 years so part of it is a lot more people wanting to live on a lake. My grandparents had a cabin on a river and they bought the lot for $500
