And we are just yet another branch of evolution of a planet prone to extinction events…on a tiny blue speck floating in nothingness. And yet…Daddy made it all, just for us. For a few thousand years. That’s all. We are that important. She’s not even in the Cheerful Goodbyes episode that reunites most of the cast as part of NBC’s 75th anniversary. Me too, for exactly the reason Mog’s joke is accurate. It never mattered what the plot was. If there was one. It’s the Enya of cheap tv shows. But they could make a replica for it right? If they made a new set anyways. Well, it doesn’t bother me too much but it seems clear what would’ve been best. It’s a huge effort to remake a set, especially when you’re shooting a weekly schedule. In the Star Trek Next Generation episode Relics, they were able to recreate the bridge of the original Enterprise only through some green screen and some super fan loaned them exact replicas of some of the set pieces that he had built. There was a crazy Star Trek fan who bought William Shatner’s Kidney Stone for like $17k and Shatner donated the money to Habitat for Humanity. I can’t decide what’s weirder. Buying a kidney stone or selling a kidney stone (even if the money goes to charity).

Further, with Star Trek, so many of their sets are re-dressed and re-used for the What If Deadpool 3 Was A Christmas Movie Best Christmas Ever Poster Movie Ryan Reynolds x Hugh Jackman Poster Shirt Additionally,I will love this reason you mentioned. To the discerning eye you learn to spot stuff like the Excelsior bridge set being re-dressed to serve as the Prometheus’ bridge set. Picard Season 2 actually had a scene use Vasquez Rocks as Vasquez Rocks which I thought was kinda hilarious given how often it shows up in all the various Trek shows as alien planets. It’s also not uncommon for different productions to reuse sets as well to save money. The nightclub they fight in in Black Panther is the same gambling den they fight in in Skyfall, for example.
