This is the What Day Is Today Who Cares I’m Retired Cat Coffee Shirt it is in the first place but kind of thing that was put on blast on fb due to my health (fibromyalgia). Friends knew that really hard work caused me to flare and would refuse to help me, even when told to do so by the boss. If they did, it would result in really shitty comments in my direction or shouting things to each other, trash talking. Even in a union job, they refused to do something unless I could show up, but I couldn’t physically function unless they did something to remove me from the situation. Some of these people were “friends” outside work and turned into harassers over something that had been explained to them by me, yet they did this shit anyway. I had photographic evidence, and witnesses. They terminated me, but did so in a way that made it impossible for me to go back on them for unemployment, or anything. “Job abandonment” or something. I was on fmla, ran out and they would no longer do anything… Sorry for the rant. This just brought up a shit ton of resentment for me. I lost every friend I had made there and there were quite a few, maybe 50? Obviously have a lot of trust issues as a result…

Is un respectful even a word? Also younger people avoid places like this, they’re not the ones making the choice to not hire us lol. Ima millennial gen z cusp and I treat interviews as if I’m interviewing them because I am. It’s about my fit and what works for me. Not them. “Irregardless” feels like bad English use because the “ir-” prefix means exactly the same as the “-less” suffix on the end. The Merriam-Webster dictionary first published this word nearly 100 years ago, and I feel as though more conservative English dictionaries would have resisted adding it due to the doubled negative aspect. My personal belief (definitely an incorrect bias due to widespread acceptance) is that “irregardless” should not be a word. I accept it, buf I’ll never use it in a sentence except as an example of the negative prefix and suffix, or to have a conversation such as this ond.
