This is far from the only such incident of an officer arresting a child at school of late. Absolutely disgusting. As a parent, I really wish we got a crack at the stupid son of a bitch that thought it a good idea to fucking arrest a 6 year old. Try putting those on my big ass. Man, USA is a shit country, how can people be proud of such a place, with so many abuses? This is really fucking infuriating. That kid is going to grow up to absolutely despise and never trust police, and that was entirely their doing. What a bunch of scum. Honestly these cases make me realize the ” never touch a student” rule has gone too far. People can’t hold a student down and we end up calling the cops because they are allowed to rough handle /force. I still don’t get this “school resource officer” position. I know it’s a whole other world, but in Australia, Police used to come in for safety talks, stranger danger, crossing traffic, who to go to if there was a problem, that kind of thing. They were called Community Police Officers. We’d all get shitloads of stickers, magnets, and other cool loot, and some lucky sod would end up with a Constable Care teddy. That was primary school in the 90s. When high school came around the message changed to cover sex and drugs, and it was still worthwhile and from a supportive place. There was one occasion I remember cops attending to give a slap on the wrist warning and confiscate some weed, but there was none of this.
