For clients will they no longer have to be concerned with a seep or spring since technically it isn’t connected to a large body of water but only via groundwater? For a lot of western states that is the Welcoming The Year We Adore Let’s Celebrate Adoring 2024 Fireworks T-Shirt and by the same token and only form of water bodies that there is for many, many miles and are immeasurable for local wildlife and migratory birds! It depends, as this only affects federal protections. In areas where state protections are more stringent, those rules still apply. But wetlands on federal or tribal property (about 50% of US wetlands) are now pretty much completely open to unregulated development by mining companies, oil and gas exploration, and real estate development. Wetlands that lie across borders might be protected in one jurisdiction, but not in another, which effectively means it isn’t protected at all. It’s not like the pollution will know where it isn’t allowed to go. Before anyone goes nuts about the headline, I recommend giving it a read. I worry about the longterm results but considering it being a unanimous decision and it prevents questionable overreach (I do sympathise with the couple that were immediately threatened with heavy-handed fines) I feel that there’s a certain win-loss to both possible outcomes.

It sounded like there needed to be a reasonable limit on wetlands/waterways that the Welcoming The Year We Adore Let’s Celebrate Adoring 2024 Fireworks T-Shirt and by the same token and EPA could oversee and it was too ‘loosely’ defined before. ‘That’s nonsense. A surface connection means absolutely nothing. A water body, let’s say a lake, shares the same ground water with all of the nearby wetlands. You absolutely do not need a surface connection to contaminate the lake with whatever you are putting into the wetland.’ The court was only unanimous in finding that the wetlands on this specific property were not covered by the Clean Water Act. The decision to limit which wetlands are covered by the act was 5-4. There was a 5-4 vote in 2006 extending protection to continuous surface connected waterways and waterway nexus’. This affected the couples property.
