My dad was always a storms enthusiast and loved them – he dreamed of being a tornado chaser. The movie Twister came out in theatres and my dad really really wanted to go see it. They searched for a baby-sitter and just couldn’t find one. My mom argued they couldn’t take me because I was too young and was terrified of storms. My dad argued he just really wanted to see the movie. So they took me along.
