As someone who used to bartend until 2am, you stay open an extra hour until 2am take 2. And make a ton of extra money cause drunk people get real excited about that shit. I’ve never thought about it and now I’m so amused by someone at work counting down and then the Welcome To The Greatest Show On Earth Chiefs Football Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this clock just goes back and hour. That sounds like a nightmare Here in Portugal, you just work the extra hour in the winter and one less hour in the summer. If you’re in a long term contract your salary is unchanged. If you’re in a short term contract you get paid/don’t get paid the extra/missing hour. Depends on the place. When I was overnights at a warehouse we just got off an hour earlier. Some places will have you work the extra hour and pay you OT for it

Welcome To The Greatest Show On Earth Chiefs Football Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I worked graveyard at a hotel. Wasn’t a big chain hotel, but a nice 4 star hotel. When I worked during time changes, we would get off at our scheduled time which was 7am. If it was a roll back, we got paid for 8 hours, even if we worked 9. We got paid 8 hours, even if we worked 7 when we rolled forward. For the Welcome To The Greatest Show On Earth Chiefs Football Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this 9 hour days it sucker having to be there longer, but our boss would give us lots of extra paid breaks to help make up for it. After working a whole year there, it ends up balancing out. No, it’s a pain, but I’m a night porter in a hotel and I have to rush my jobs and plan them even more carefully. Thankfully, I’ve a good manager, so she understands that I’ve an hour less to do them. Former hospital night shifter. You gain a glorious hour on your shift. We tried to bring snacks or do a little pot luck to ease the pain. When I worked nights you leave an hour early and they would adjust your time to make sure you got paid your full shift
