The fact that he was AN HOUR LATE would be enough for me to cancel. Request a refund. SOMETHING. At the We Wear Orange Ribbon Butterfly ADHD Awareness T-Shirt but in fact I love this very least, write a bad review and maybe post some of the pics you’re comfortable with posting (IF the top comment suggestion doesn’t work!!). I’m so sorry this happened to you I’m getting angry reading it. I wouldn’t want that guy to ever take pictures of my family again. People are saying to reach out, but I say cut your losses and do a complete Mulligan. You already know it was a complete mismatch. In order to get some nice, professional family photos, you’ll have to go to someone else. You know what to look for this time, and trust your gut. You can send a side.by side comparison, afterwards, with whatever choice words need to be said.

Honestly? I would chalk it up to experience–there’s nothing much you can do, and I would treat yourself to another photo session with a photographer that you like (ask around, get recommendations, don’t pay in advance, etc etc). It’s nice to have a couple of nice family photographs. You could even set some up with a timer and your cell phone and come up with some perfectly nice photos (that’s what we ended up doing). In the We Wear Orange Ribbon Butterfly ADHD Awareness T-Shirt but in fact I love this future you may end up just laughing about this, my husband and I have some perfectly dreadful photos of ourselves that now just make us laugh. Honestly I find that the best photos tend to be the casual, slice of life photos. We have one of us trying to sort of go about our business as our then-toddler is running grinning widely as he runs amok around the dining room table and it’s one of our favorites! There are many other photos that just capture his personality, or are just a slice of life. One is a timer photo where the timer took too long –he might have been about three, I think–and we just started cracking up and laughing–and it’s the cutest picture, even has our cat in it. Those are the best.
