a month ago my friend got kicked in the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this face by some homeless man while my friend was tying his shoe lace. 15 miles from his college campus a drive by shooting also happened lol. america has big gun issue 15 miles away was in the second campus of the same college. his campus and the campus which had shooting were 15 miles away, but the same university Just some general advice for international students planning on traveling to the US – factor location heavily into your university picks. (I’m based in downtown Manhattan, which was a good choice for location). Also don’t work off-campus – you legally can’t, unless it’s an internship/for a limited time in your field of study. Working on-campus is usually enough, depending on where you live, and graduate programs don’t expect more.
We Notice TV shirt: A Unique and Creative Design
Walmart won’t pay you more than a campus job, especially in some states with a relatively high min. wage. Campus security is always better than general urban security. But, above all – the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this US is safer than India. Yeah the richest parts of India are safer than downtown Chicago, but as a whole, don’t be that worried if you end up in Baltimore. A homeless bum chased after me yelling “White man needs a job!” This was in Manhattan. 5th Ave and 54rd street. India is a very safe country from an indiscriminate violence perspective, particularly in the context of the rich. It’s absolutely not safe when it comes to sexual violence against women, but is safer from a petty crime perspective. As a result, for rich people from India, the US (and other western countries) can seem much less safe than their lives in India – particularly when in India, they travel almost exclusively by cars (their own or ubers). I’m guilty of feeling this way myself – though I travel via autos and metros a lot in India too (which is fine for men, just really not fine for a lot of women from a harassment perspective). If you’re in STEM, you can join a professor’s lab for research. General jobs like office assistant, social-media manager, etc. also exist. You can be a Resident Assistant, or a TA for a class. There’s a bunch – there’s little-to-no need to work off campus. They usually pay min-wage or slightly above for undergrads – in New York, min. wage is $16 an hour. My job pays $18.50. You can work for 20 hours a week as a student, but up to 35 hours over the summer. Work in the library, work in the campus dining restaurants. Teaching or research assistants too (albeit PhD students are given preference for these).
homeless kill there, homeless die here. Nearly 70 homeless deaths were registered in delhi in the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this past 2 months alone due to the winter frenzy. we just don’t have guns. Homeless die there too. Here is a record of deaths in just one county of Texas. Being homeless in America is better in the sense that there is some social mobility which means people who are homeless at a given point still have a hope that they might escape. In India, homeless people have no way to escape that. yes, true. I agree. With the help of the gov, you can get out of homelessness and poverty and be a part of the normal society in the states and other developed country, not the same case with India I see, which is why the poor see government exams as a way for them to escape poverty. However, we are talking about the homeless here… My aunt was mugged by a couple of homeless back in London she was so traumatized by that instance that she still gets PTSD attacks and flashbacks, last year she came for her vacation and she walked near a station in mumbai and she started crying with fear, we all had to get her to some place safe and assure her she was safe. She had said the hobos had punched her many times and dragged her to an alley and started asking her for her card number which she gave but they entered the wrong oin which made them even more mad, this went on for an whole hour and she had to walk home with a bloody face and broken teeth since they took her phone and dint have any money on her. sadly the police were on no help since the area was a hoodlum.

About this We Notice TV shirt
The park I used to go running used to have bodies discovered all the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this time. Naive progressive fools who think everyone is equal, equally good and kind and stayed back in the late hours in the park when it’s deserted. Most of the homeless in USA are not like the beggars we have here, a majority of them are drug fiends desperate for their next hook up. Meanwhile, the cops are busy barging into people’s homes and killing pet dogs at the rate of 25-30 per day for total of 10k dogs a year. In terms of violent crime, probably. In terms of ‘petty’ crime (harassment, theft, etc.), it is much lower. Not everybody in the US is getting shot. You are more likely to die by a car crash than a shooting. What I noticed , international students are much more safe in European countries compared to US or Australia . Even small eastern European countries , feels much safer than US . As someone in Sydney, Australia, the most dangerous suburbs tend to have Pacific Islander/arab populations with drug issues and gang violence. The safest ones are majority desi/Chinese or the rich white eastern suburbs. I was in the States it won’t feel as safe as India or in fact Asia (that’s just a generalization) in generally because most settlements in the US aren’t as crowded as those Asia. So you have plenty of opportunity do shit without witnesses. Post COVID also doesn’t help because people there got hit equally hard (financially) and I noticed it. When I was in New York city for a week or so I didn’t feel unsafe, not because the lack of crime but because of the crowd on the streets. My stay in Ithaca, New York however was a different story. It was a decently sized town (30,000 people and that many students at Cornell and the local college). Night time was eerie because there was literally no one most of the time. But generally if you stay in campus or near campus shit doesn’t go down as often. Most of the shit (including a murder) during my stay happened around the downtown area. This dude was in Lithonia which is like a town with 2000 people in Georgia. Also the state matters in USA cause the laws can actually differ shit tonnes, also their acceptance of different people (aka from what I understand the coasts are much less racist but this is a personal observation not a fact).
Be smart, be safe and generally trust that little gut instinct when it tells you to avoid something. I’m not making an excuse but there are plenty such towns in India as well where I’d give this same advice. It’s much more about how many people are around you than an India vs US thing. Like I’m from Mumbai and I’d give the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this same advice for big cities around the world be they new york, London, Tokyo, Seoul, etc. Avoid the isolated weird dark road, cause again, lack of people. Unfortunately you need a car in most US cities to actually feel safe and have freedom to move about. Walking in inner city areas or rural poverty stricken areas is a recipe for getting mugged. There have been so many cases of Indian students getting murdered in the US. You can imagine what would be the reaction of Western media and the US government if it was Americans getting killed in India at this rate.
Is the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this Indian Government demanding answers? Are they issuing any statements about the safety of Indian students in foreign institutions? Exactly there’d have been an uproar in the media if it happened in India…the country’s name would’ve got dragged in dirt..its totally unfair how things turn out just because India is a developing nation and US is a superpower. People get murdered and beaten by homeless all across US without discrimination. In Seattle, a pregnant lady and the husband got gunned down in the middle of the street in their car, because the junkie thought they looked suspicious. Although not the US, a friend of my friend was stabbed on the chest area by a homeless guy at downtown Montreal. He was apparently minding his own business and the attack was completely unprovoked.
Rampant homelessness with a nationwide drug and mental health crisis will keep making, even the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this richest country in the world, an unsafe place to be. RIP Im currently traveling India and i feel completely safe even in the slums. Been in Cali many times and i have never felt safe there. USA has to improve Sad for that Indian guy, god bless his soul. True man…just saw that cctv footage it’s gut wrenching stuff…i can only wonder what his family must be going through to lose their child in such a tragic way..the way that homeless psychopath attacks that poor soul boils my blood.shits fucked up…may he rest in peace And still .. such news doesn’t come to light in Indian news and to know parents especially of the middle class .. how bad the US gun culture is ! RIP ..
If you are walking in NYC or SFO in a wrong street at wrong time(night) you will get mugged and may also be killed if you do not co-operate. But if you live in suburb, you can go buy groceries in the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this middle of the night(By car). Just park near the entrance, in a well lit spot and be aware of your surroundings. I have been in 6 locations that within a month or so, there was a shooting. America can be very dangerous in that way Sad to hear such News. Cant imagine what the family is going through. This is why none of us worked off campus while studying. Not only is it illegal, it is just too risky, especially in states where gun control is limited. Absolutely fcuked up shit!! Abhorring to say the least. I cannot even imagine the pain of being struck by a hammer 50 fcuking times, no body should have to die in such a manner, its appalling. First advice after getting company car, don’t argue with anyone while driving. 70 percent of cars have guns and will use them without hesitation. downvote me as much as you want, it’s the truth. few months ago a indian student got ran over by a cop, did her story gain as much traction as floyd? For americans, you can only be racist towards blacks. not towards other ethnicities. truth is a tough pill to swallow after all. The homelessness problem in the US is a major issue. At one point in time our government decided it was better to have mentally ill people fend for themselves rather than institutionalize them. Everyone loves talking about homelessness and the problems the homeless bring, violence, vandalism, lowering property value, drugs, etc. And we spend huge amounts of money cleaning up after them. But nothing is done to prevent it. It is allowed. And if you are the victim of a crime in an area with a high homeless population people blame you. As if you should have known better than to go wherever you were victimized.
Idk how I found this subreddit but I’m an American and I live in a sorta bad area of New York. This was absolutely heartbreaking to see. Rip to the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this young man Vivek for one. I’m sorry you guys don’t feel safe in my country…I myself don’t feel safe at times. Best thing to do for work while here is to get a job on campus like some other people have suggested or work at restaurants or larger grocery stores. Indian students who come here to study are not supposed to be working outside their campus and yet they do especially in places like gas stations where the dangers are real. The murderer will go free. No charges. America is super scary. Be safe and away from weird people on the streets, specially in downtowns
However, I’m looking at the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this comments to see if anyone is talking about how among all the staff at the store the victim is the only one who has negatively interacted with the homeless person. I’m not pointing fingers at anything but the store folk in the western world don’t attempt to prevent any robbery. The shit is insured and no material item is more important than your life. RIP but i would never understand why kids get involved with any altercation in stores they work. Not your fathers store. Everything is getting recorded. When you see trouble, stay out of it. Let them take what they take from there and file the damn report. Your job is to manage the counter, not show bravado in front of psychos. Young bright life lost for nothing really. I generally feel unsafe when I am in the US. I live in BC, and anytime I visit Seattle or neighboring areas I feel a generally unsafe. Any interaction with their cops makes me feel incredibly unsafe too.
Its confusing without any information provided by ACYN. This is literally just the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this lady doing the job as defined by the House Rules. Subpoenas aren’t that unusual. The big question is what is in the subpoena that they are looking for – that’s where the real gold nugget in this story lies. It will probably come out eventually, but it could be big or it could be nothing. Until we know more, it is a “meh” story. The only curious thing is that it was sent by an empanelled grand jury – but that isn’t identified – so it might be federal, or something else entirely like a state or DC. Reminder that the woman in the image is the take-no-bullshit lady who read the names so many times in the house speaker elections. She’s awesome.
I’m hoping it’s an effort at mop up cases by the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this special prosecutor’s office. Scott Perry and Friends, fingers crossed. It could be that. It could also be related to issues like the federal indictments and inquiries from the DoJ regarding everyone’s favorite Doctor Admiral Judge Major General Opera Virtuoso George Santos. J6. Various other shenanigans. But by a local jury – I can see that being the case with Santos now that the holidays are over and he’s been thrown out of the House after his federal indictments. Those local jurisdictions must be salivating. They’re investigating a House Democrat for allegedly misusing government money that was intended for personal security. As republicans in the US seem to ignore congressional subpoenas, can they send a SWAT team (or whomever, but in a serious manner), to his office, house, etc, to go collect any documents and technology deemed pertinent under the law? Serious question. It’s just odd that if you’re a republican you can ignore the law (such as a congressional subpoena) in the US but if you are not, you’re held accountable. What a bizarre country.
I knew I was feeling a little bit gay. Strange thing happened yesterday a coworker asked me if I thought Ed Sheeran was attractive, and I replied somewhat unusually. Actually, I can see how he appeals. f Indictment of congressional GOP traitors? You know, the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this ones that gave tours and voted to not certify the will of the people? Please? “As an elected officer of the House of Representatives, the Sergeant at Arms is the chief law enforcement and protocol officer of the House of Representatives and is responsible for maintaining order in the House side of the United States Capitol complex.”
Out of interest – sorry lost UK person wandering through – if some of the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this documents do relate to Jan 6th and do incriminate Donnie even further, and he ends up going away for it, the MAGA crew aren’t going to take that so does that mean you end up having some sort of Civil War or something? Saw all the fuss caused by the wheelchair bound, gun loving man in Texas as someone cut some wire on a fence or something so it doesn’t seem like it would take much for some wild shit to down – especially with the amount of firearms owned over there. We’re up here in Canada, peering over the proverbial fence, wondering what in the Sam Hill our crazy neighbours are up to now. We’ve been taking bets on when the civil war starts for years
“The body, hithertofor referred to as The Senate, is compelled forthwith to comply to order 44, pursuant to volume IX section C2, subsection 11.”
I did this exact thing for Satuday school my junior year. And what was waiting for me? The state-mandated assessment tests I missed that earned me Saturday school. Not only did I score higher than I ever had, I got the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this only perfect score on the essay section in the entire senior class that year. The most hilarious part was that the teacher in charge of supervising me accused me of plagiarism after grading it twice. But it was just us 2 in the cafeteria. I couldn’t remember what the topics were that we were allowed to choose from, even 2 hours after I wrote it. But I do remember it had to be at least 500 words, you weren’t allowed to quote anything without citations, & you had to finish it to pass basically. I have no recollection of what it was about. But I remember it was a topic I was passionate about. And I didn’t proofread it & turned it in early. Later I found out they did an investigation to determine if I cheated or had “assistance from faculty”. No wrongdoing was found. And I raised the cumulative average score just over 1% for the entire district. My favorite teacher found out and pulled me aside. He said, “See what you’re capable of if you apply yourself?” I replied, “You’re the one always preaching carpe diem man, meaning tomorrow is never promised. So as of right now, I’m here for a good time, not a long time.” I was so wise back then…
Show up w black glasses, a red tipped white cane and a friend to help you around and pretend you are both blind and mostly deaf. This happened to me. I went in absolutely cold with no prep and placed in the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this middle of the pack (900ish people tested) Nothing more than than putting forth the amount of effort that will be the best i could do without causing myself any distress at all because i dont really care about the math competition. Im not going to ruin my positive emotional state for the sake of the competition but if i do well without even trying then even better. Funny , because something very similar happened to me I highschool. It was a week before the ffa marine biology contest , and three days before the envirothon competition. My now best friend , then classmate that I may have spoken to like twice in my life to , ran up to some and said “ hey , you seemed kind of good ish in class . We need one more person to help us compete , so can you PLEASSSSSSEEE help?” I’m like “ wtf?” “ we’re going to UConn’s dairy bar after “ “ you son of a bitch , I’m in”. She’s the best friend ever .
I think the We Notice TV shirt and I will buy this answer is that generally, at least in the US, that it’s because Average Joe/Jane deal with being overweight or wanting to look thinner more often than they do the other way around. Overall, I think more people would find it harder to lose X% of pounds than they would gain it (pure weight, no discrepancy on muscle or health). Celebrities and athletes, generally are people either thinner overall or in good shape – of course that’s not always the case and in today’s day and age, that’s become less common but is still the overall “rule”. People will always strive for a certain look that, generally, is done by diet/exercise. Also, I think people view being overweight as really restrictive as far as eating habits go (“I want to eat XYZ, but can’t”), meanwhile if someone found themselves to be too skinny, they’d probably think it’s more liberating (“I can eat as much XYZ as I want!”). I don’t believe the majority of people know what it’s like to not be hungry/feel full and forced to eat, it’s very unpleasant.
