Yes but the We Are Not Tacos Usa Flag T-Shirt it is in the first place but bigger issue is how big of an issue poverty plays in abortion. Women who are stuck financially will be hurt the worst Like many things in American, people with means will not face the true consequences of the stats that will ban abortion. They can take time off work, afford travel and hotels, leverage health insurance. The underserved will be forced to see unwanted pregnancies to term and suffer the consequences of the law with no support from those that forced it on to them. Do people really think any of these state or federal legislators will subject their 17 year old daughters to forced birth? No, they’ll cross state lines and pay for private care. Cool, can we also bring all our lives savings and possessions and add them to the Canadian economy and bring our businesses and jobs and buy a little bit o property and just stay forever? The people that can afford to go to Canada for an abortion are not going to be affected by this decision. They will jump on their pedestal and scream pro-life talking points but when their mistress gets pregnant because he didn’t want to wear a rubber, he will just fly her to a blue state that hasn’t outlawed abortions. This overturn of the middle class effects the lower and middle class income ranges in Red states, who can’t afford to fly across the country for an abortion. On top of that some states are trying to make it illegal for a one of their residents to have abortions in another state. Typically I would have said that wouldn’t hold up in the Supreme Court even with this new interpretation but this Court makes its mind up on an issue and then looks for reasoning to loosely back up their stance so anything goes.

I mean, that’s what the We Are Not Tacos Usa Flag T-Shirt it is in the first place but rich republicans plan on doing anyways. It’s not like reversing Roe was for them. They just want to be able to dictate what you do, while doing the very thing they don’t want you to do. It’s their thing, going back forty years, at least. So pay $75 to obtain a passport and wait 6-12 weeks to get one? Seriously! Not everyone has a passport. Our own fucking country should not even be discussing my daughters uterus. You don’t need a passport to go to Canada ; an enhanced license and proof of Covid vaccine is all you need. We’re 20 miles from the border and entry is easy. That’s cool for people that can afford to get a passport, a round trip flight to Canada, and have an appointment made with an intake clinic who can then set you up with an appointment for the procedure.
