Please allow me to remind you that censorship is when a government body restricts all speech – not when a corporation decides to limit a targeted functionality. There is a vast difference between the Walking Towards The Grail Shirt But I will love this two and you probably already know this. Its still text book censorship. You are thinking of the right to free speech which only applies to government bodies and not corporate entities. When twitter suspends someone it is still censorship, justified or not. Same thing when a public forum quarantines a board with in. Again, I think you are also conflating deplatforming with censorship. I can understand how they can be both similar and confusing, but they are very different both in function and execution.

Walking Towards The Grail Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

When a government suppresses free speech, or censors, it is removing the Walking Towards The Grail Shirt But I will love this content by force, from all platforms of dissemination. When a private entity such as Twitter or FaceMetaInstaBook removes content, it is simply targeted deplatforming. Censorship would be the Chinese government banning all content about Taiwan independence on all platforms. That is simply not correct and you’re so far off the mark it’s not even funny anymore. You DO realize that public forums like Facebook, Twitter, reddit, what have you … are de facto places for open discussion nowadays? And that their infrastructure has also been enabled by state governments around the world? They’re intertwined. In my own country there are countless laws against “hate speech” and other silly things that effectively give the government the ability to remove all views from social media that they deem “misinformation” or “hate speech”. If you want to live in such a world, I pity you, because you WILL 100% be on the receiving end of such laws sooner or later, unless you’re completely (morally) flexible. Social media is such an integral part of our communication and news gathering these days, that them banishing certain news or comments or whatever definitely IS censorship. And in most countries you can take legal measures against such actions, they’re just costly and time consuming.
