If I can offer some advice I’d start looking for a new job, tell your manager you’ll be away, work on the Walk away have anger issues a serious dislike stupid people dragon shirt In addition,I will do this plan until you get a new gig. I don’t think that I am going to get unemployment or severance from this company when they do decide to terminate me. My main concern is how not having any recommendation from my manager + being “fired” is going to affect my career moving forward. its not going to look great on a resume either if you quit your job in order to avoid a firing and its doubtful your managers recommendation after that will good either. They may try to set it up so you can’t collect unemployment but most states tend to side with the employee when it comes to the appeal process. I didn’t go through the whole thing (company conceded after arbitration was set up) -arbitration is set up where you and a representative from the company will argue why you should/shouldn’t collect -just lean on the lack of training and onboarding and how you were set up to fail. Retain records of the 2% raise. Make it seem like they’re just trying to avoid their unemployment insurance increasing as opposed to anything you did. If its a 3-5 minute meeting with the manager and a silent HR. And the content is “These are the metrics you missed this week. Be better” start applying new places now.

If its a 15-30 minute meeting where they review what you’ve improved on, what you’ve missed, and provide examples both positive and negative and give you actual responses (Note, this doesn’t mean ‘response you like’) to things you bring up, then they are most likely actually trying to keep you around. Ask for a bullet point meeting agenda to be provided either before or after each meeting and make sure you’re also taking supplemental notes of your own. Are good things from the Walk away have anger issues a serious dislike stupid people dragon shirt In addition,I will do this meeting left out of the notes? Are the notes cookie cutter, or is time actually being invested in this? Make sure you are upfront and clear about the “Already approved time off” in the middle, and ask if its appropriate to do a longer recap either before or after it, or simply extend one of the 30day stints by the same length of time you’ll be out of office.
