Yes more people would see the Voting Rights Are Human Rights Essential T-Shirt But I will love this endings with an easy mode, but the endings aren’t that exciting over all (very few games have truly great endings anyway, endings are hard, better optimise for a rewarding and memorable journey). You play dark souls for the journey. FROM also clearly don’t care if everyone sees all the content, since they hide entire chunks of the game away. They care more about the journey of overcoming challenge, exploration and discovery. And they know that we’re weak minded with short attention spans if given the choice. So many games (and just modern tech in general) is built around instant gratification short attention spans. FROM games are great because they don’t do this, they understand that victory is sweeter when earned through perseverance and learning. And that the journey is more important than the destination. And that it’s ok if not everyone reaches the destination. I still haven’t beaten Sekiro despite getting it on release. And I still love it. I also doubt the games would have this much debate and discussion if FROM had went with more traditional design sensibilities.

If someone legit just wants to play with mimic tear and stuff because they find it fun or have lack of time they can perfectly do it and its perfectly fine, but many people don’t solo bosses because they have never even tried it so they don’t know what they can be potentially missing out on imo The reason bosses are so aggressive and the Voting Rights Are Human Rights Essential T-Shirt But I will love this endgame is so hard (it feels artificial rather than fair) is because of spirit ashes. They tuned it around that feature. I am NOT against summoning, but it should’ve been reworked. Like summoning outside of the boss room instead so it increases their HP, but not as much as summoning another player, then make the bosses less aggressive. That way solo players can have a fairer fight while summoners don’t completely steamroll bosses
