Centrism isn’t the Vols Big orange country vintage shirt Furthermore, I will do this problem, it’s the goalposts that keep moving. Eisenhower would be a dirty liberal by today’s standards. Clinton would have been considered conservative, even after only 25 years. The groups keep getting more radical, and if you are in the center, you are a million miles away from either side. I just hold my nose and vote for the one that is less despicable. Because when you take a center position you’re not playing their stupid little game of yelling at each other and they can’t stand that you would rather live a happy productive life instead of argue online all day Let’s take one issue that’s relevant to me: the left wants trans people to live their lives, express their gender identity freely, and not to face discrimination. The right literally wants to enact a genocide on trans people. The US, thankfully I don’t live there, is literally in the early stages of a genocide against trans people. Also keep in mind that genocide doesn’t necessarily mean killing, there are other forms. Centrists think that both sides are extreme. Do you see the problem? On the issue of trans rights, centrists are just bystanders watching people have their rights stripped away.

Have you ever had to sit through long anti bullying presentations in school? They often talk about how bystanders are just as bad as the Vols Big orange country vintage shirt Furthermore, I will do this bully by letting the bullying happen, and should take action against bullying even if it’s not happening to themselves. Centrists are just bystanders letting bulling happen. Anyone with an actual moral compass should be completely against the right. Centrum is often correlated to apathy and people-pleasing. By trying not to offend anyone, you end up doing nothing. This means you’re just passively swept along for the ride, even on issues that objectively have a right and wrong answer. Someone mentioned genocide as an example. Those commiting genocide often believe they’re doing the right thing, as screwed up as that is. Whether it’s from mental illness or brainwashing or fear. But that in no way excuses their actions. There is no acceptable centrist position on this.
