Now, Daniel Radcliffe—Harry Potter himself—has joined the Visit Dagobah Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this cause, posting a response to Rowling’s comments on the website of the Trevor Project. “Transgender women are women,” Radcliffe wrote. “Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional health care associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo or I.”

Visit Dagobah Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Radcliffe has long worked with the Visit Dagobah Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this Trevor Project, a nonprofit organization that is focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth. He spoke directly to those who felt their experience with Harry Potter had been tainted by Rowling’s comments, writing: “If these books taught you that love is the strongest force in the universe, capable of overcoming anything; if they taught you that strength is found in diversity, and that dogmatic ideas of pureness lead to the oppression of vulnerable groups; if you believe that a particular character is trans, nonbinary, or gender fluid, or that they are gay or bisexual; if you found anything in these stories that resonated with you and helped you at any time in your life—then that is between you and the book that you read, and it is sacred.”

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
