My parents were both teachers their whole life. They built a house in the country together in their late 30s and had 2 children. They had 2 very nice cars. We went to multiple expensive vacations each year. They are now 70 and sold the house and moved into an absolutely amazing balls off the wall apartment in Berlin that is also wheelchair friendly for my dad. They are paying this from their rent and savings. They still have money left to support me and my sister and for our heritage.
