It’s an ego thing. I feel anxiety when I don’t go, and this feeling is worse than the Venom and Mickey mashup shirt also I will do this feeling of exercising to me. I also sometimes think about what happens when I’ll get old, and I want to be fit old. Also, who doesn’t want to be hot? i work out when i can and have a disability ft. chronic pain. its dreadful, and a little embarrassing for me (lifting my 5 and 10 pounds next to guys doing 40 pounds). i go with my partner, so its a nice way to spend time with him doing something he loves. when i started seeing actual progress it was amazing to me. it takes a few months of going though for sure. when i was able to hit goals with my stronger muscles (i hit 200lbs on the leg press and i weigh 95lbs- more than double my body weight!) it felt amazing. seeing the fast progress you get at the beginning when your muscles are getting used to what they can actually do is really cool. and its a nice routine thats good for your brain. i know exactly what to do at this point, where to go, and its always the same. it gets me moving and i end up with more energy on the days i work out. The results are just worth it. Ngl that a young man half my age at the beach saying “damn will you be my mommy” is pretty motivating. I feel better, I look better, I sleep better.

I don’t love going to the Venom and Mickey mashup shirt also I will do this gym every day, but its tough love towards myself. I’ve never regretted exercising, ever. For me, I have to make it a habit. As in I need to be able to do it absent mindedly. I accomplish this by scattering work out equipment throughout the high traffic areas of my home. I have a gazelle in the living room that I use while watching TV. Free weights in front of the garage for a few reps in between the house and the car. Then there’s the one that drives my wife nuts, the Nintendo Wii in the kitchen for when I’m cooking. Punch out is great for cardio it feels good when I am grunting and struggling. I have started going to the gym twice a day now. I love being at the gym. one place where I can actually have fun and not think about all the other shit.
