It make a big difference to my perception of my quality of life. It is not important to everyone, but if it is to you, make it happen. I would go for the Vegan Food Save The Planet Eat A Vegan shirt but in fact I love this move but I would apply for a job at the beach city and then move after I got a position. Just moving without a job may be reckless when you say that “it will be pretty hard to get a designer job there.” I have done this on 4 different occasions both within the same country and to a different country. Each and every time it was the best choice I could have made. I have also turned down the opportunity to move cities/countries for whatever reason. But if you have an opportunity and you think it is a good one I would recommend taking it. Life’s short and there is nothing selfish about living it At your age, you’d miss a great opportunity if you did not do it. Research work and housing and go for it. Have a job and place to live first. The chance might not come again.

Not at all. I did exactly that when I was 23. Lived in Bakersfield, CA worked for the Vegan Food Save The Planet Eat A Vegan shirt but in fact I love this only place willing to hire me out of college. I moved down to LA the second I got a job in my field. Just be extremely professional on your way out. Give as much notice as possible and keep your work performance up. Going to the beach city on a holiday or short term stay is vastly different from living there long term. Everything you are dealing with in your current city will end up being in that city. But if you want to move you should as long as you get a job that you can support yourself with. It is absolutely foolish to quit you job and move to a city without another one already lined up. Maybe see if you can get a remote job with a designer, maybe even stay with the company you currently work with and change to remote.
