Imagine just finishing paying $100,000 in student loan debt after years of sacrificing important milestones, such as owning a home. And just when you are ready to buy, AOC wants a whole bunch of kids to compete against you for that purpose and use your taxes to pay for it. She is right that one can support things without direct benefit, but it does not follow that one should support something that is wholly unfair to them. Or what about the people who made significant sacrifices to pay off their student loans? Canceling student debt without asking borrowers to exchange something for it, is just plain wrong.
