They’re growing, and they get reasonably high calorie food, but they’re both a breed that tends to chonk if not active enough or not careful with the Utah Utes Gavin Nawahine 2023 NCAA Football shirt in addition I really love this feeding. Thankfully, neither one of them is hugely food motivated, unlike my last beastie. We have a bengal and she’s super active so we leave a very measured portion of dry food out during the mornings and then scheduled food. She has to eat raw food bc of stomach issues that were causing behavioral issues (scratching furniture and knocking stuff off the shelves) but once we scheduled her raw food they stopped. If your cat knows how to self regulate, then free feeding works. I have one cat that self regulates and another who will eat any food left out, so he’d get fat if I didn’t portion his food out for him. So both my cats have set meals. I feed them mostly wet food, so free feeding wouldn’t work out anyway. I have 1 auto feeder and 3 cats. They eat breakfast, small lunch, and dinner. They don’t seem to mind sharing either and they all get along well. They have plenty of litter boxes tho !

My cat gets fed technically 3 times a day (a scoop of dry food right before bed. Bfast and dinner is wet food) but the Utah Utes Gavin Nawahine 2023 NCAA Football shirt in addition I really love this shelter said they leave food out for them all the time.. I was afraid to do that cause he’s such a pig lol! Like he’d eat it all in one sitting and get sick I leave good out for her. She doesn’t over eat. She also gets a lot of treats per day too but isn’t overweight, she seems to manage her diet really well so I just let her. I leave dry food out all the time, but I give my black cat wet food for breakfast & dinner. My Siamese only likes dry food, and my black cat only likes wet food. Occasionally the black one will snack on the dry food in between meals, which is why I leave it out. Dry food is accessible all the time, while wet food is half a pouch in the morning and the other half around midday. If he’s been working really hard on his patrol, he gets a full pouch for breakfast. He’s nice and fit, no chomk.
