I’m pretty confident in my comedy. Every once in awhile something I’d way funnier to me than other people, but I think my scripts translate well. It’s easier being funny online than it is irl imo because you can use memes, sound effects, and editing to exaggerate your joke to really deliver the USSSA 4th of July Ugra 2023 logo shirt Additionally,I will love this punchline. I write jokes all the time in my script, and at first I did wonder if anyone thought it was funny, then I got a few comments saying that it was funny. So now I write jokes into all my scripts because even though you might not find it humorous, someone else might and it just adds a lot more charm to your videos. I usually come with stuff on the fly (off script) or find gems while editing and tweak for funny intent. Some of my jokes, especially the prepared ones, are usually very niche or butried in lore. I’m just waiting for someone to tell me “I see what you did there.” Lmao I literally posted one that flipped like 2 hours ago. I think my acting/impressions suck but I write fantastic little skits out. It was an Al Pacino talking to Robert De Niro bit and Robert brags how he’s the oldest dad in Hollywood but Al one ups him by saying his girlfriend is pregnant. Anyway, the script was funny but my God it came out horrendous lol. I guess stick with what you’re good at is the lesson

Much more fun with the jokes. Some people don’t like the humor I use, it’s crass, but I really don’t care. After finishing the script I make a 30 second video from it for the intro and show it to my friends. Their reactions tells me if its good enough without asking if its funny or not You write a joke and you think it’s funny in the moment, then as you’re re-reading and adjusting the script you go over it again thinking it’s “kinda” funny. Then you record it and having read it a couple dozen times, start to think it’s not funny. THEN when you listen to the recording while editing you think “man. That’s just dumb” ..but when you release the video, people think it’s hilarious.
