I once missed the University of Michigan M Den Chicago Pop Up shirt it is in the first place but school bus, must’ve been in the early 2000s. I was walking home, dejected and thinking i was going to have to ask my mum for a lift. But suddenly a bus pulls up alongside me. It’s an entirely empty bus except for a friendly looking woman driving it. She opens the doors and asks if I want a lift to school. This is a small side road that doesn’t have a bus route. I always felt well trained to say no to strangers offering me a lift, so I felt a little sceptical, but the situation was so obscure and absurd that the idea of danger seemed impossible. She drove me to school and was a lovely lady. That always felt so surreal to me. I was on a rural bus and the road was closed with a diversion down the sort of lane I would worry about driving a small car down. The poor bus driver had to turn round in the smallest turning ever and asked me (very apologetically) to see him back. I was very happy to as he couldn’t see anything. I was on a city bus in birmingham and the driver lets off what turns out to be his wife and kids outside a coop shop (not a bus stop) and waits for them to do a big shop.

Being british, me and the University of Michigan M Den Chicago Pop Up shirt it is in the first place but other passengers looked at each other hoping a leader/person of vision would emerge to take command of this madness… they did not The other wouldn’t stop for kids to get on, he would just slow down, and we’d have to jump on the bus as it went past. This was a long time ago probably 25 years in a city there was a bus station on the route home and the drivers would fairly often stop outside for a change of drivers, sometimes they would take absolutely ages and I swear one time he didn’t check if anyone was on board (just me) ended up after about half hour I just pressed the door open button and wandered home. I used to get the last bus fairly often (at 7pm lmao) and one driver would stop at specific stops and have a quick smoke because I was always the only person on the bus and then one time he stopped opposite a petrol station, locked me in the bus and went across the road to buy cigarettes and he was gone ages and I was just stuck in the bus by myself wondering if I should get up to mischief or behave myself.
