Sounds like they may not have to ever worry about the nuances we would. So it sort of depends on what you want to use your snow pants for. I personally find regular ones too restrictive. It always feels difficult to bend over or kneel down. I primarily wanted something for walking my dog, and therefore something I could easily bend over in to pick up her waste. I got the previous version of these from Eddie Bauer. They go up to 24W. They’re sort of like moisture resistant gym pants with a really nice warm lining. They’re extremely comfortable and easy to move in. Probably not the warmest available, and would get wet if you’re sitting in the snow for a while, but if you’re just walking around this will be great. I’ve seen some at Walmart that weren’t too expensive, maybe $40? I’m sure they’re not high-quality meant for day long outdoor activities, but they’d be fine for occasional use. I got mine off of Amazon for a reasonable price. I wouldn’t call them cute. I wouldn’t call any snow pants cute. But.. they’ve held up for 8 years, so that’s a win! I think they were Columbia.. However mostly mens and higher costs. I did get some very nice water and wind resistant, fleece lined jeans from one ages ago that lasted a while. Did need tailoring tho.
