Drebin: “Here, let me help you with that.” I bet…. The Portuguese were so miserable of not having tropical weather that they brought pigeons to shit everywhere on Brazil. There seems to be some incomprehensible notion that beavers are a good thing, perhaps courtesy of Disney or some other such fantastic notions. Beavers are NOT a good thing. On our farm alone, I kill 12 to 18 every single year and they don’t seem to ever diminish in number. Meanwhile, they have destroyed hundreds of trees and ruined our carefully tended wind breaks as well as dropped numerous trees on our outbuildings, causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage. Beavers are extremely “industrious” and will work tirelessly to create ideal habitats for homes – and size and scale are no obstacle for them.
