I’m not debating that. Still thought 33 subs over that long of a time period is weird. It’s not like anyone even gets to decide if the Ty Hill wearing crazy work shirt in contrast I will get this content is lazy or zero effort when youtube isn’t showing a single person the videos. I mean, respectfully – do you, yourself, watch any longform silent gaming videos to learn about games? And if you do, are you sitting through them, or instantly cutting to the part you’re curious about? An issue with your reasoning is that you mentioned someone may watch a vid to get through the hard part of a game. While that’s true – they have no reason to subscribe because there’s virtually zero chance of your next game choice also being their next game choice. A common saying in all arts/content is to produce stuff you would find valuable and enjoyable. Would you enjoy watching the same kind of videos from another gamer?

At the same time, there was this guy who is now the biggest streamer doing the same thing I was doing and have 300.000 streamer. He had similar follower count like mine back then. He just keep doing it and in a couple years, he quit his day job and now he is #1 streamer. Maybe it’s time to add some flair to your streams.
