It showed the movies like a month behind all the others, but we didn’t mind waiting. Sometimes we’d all get like $25 from our parents to go to the movies & we’d rent out the whole room so we could watch without distractions, plus we could talk normally during the movie or be as loud as we wanted. After a horrible experience at a packed movie premiere I always buy an 2 extra seats flanking us now. People will get pissed but fuck them. Obviously this is just stupidity for spending that much on a movie, but also half of the fun of a premiere is watching a film in a packed theater with other fans. So no only did he spend $2k, but he also had a worse experience in my opinion.
