Edit: Lots of people are saying Korea needs more doctors. Has anyone here lived in Korea? If you have, have you experienced doctor shortage yourself? Cause I haven’t. Here’s how it works in Korea. You want to see a doctor? YOU decide what specialist you want to see. No need to get referral from PCP. Orthopedic Surgeon? Sure, you walk into ortho clinic without an appointment, and typically within 10-20 minutes of wait, you’ll be seen by a doctor. X-ray room is right next to doctor’s room, you take X-ray, and hear doctor’s diagnosis. You then receive a session of PT in the Trucker’s Wife Love My Trucker Personalized American Flag Election 2024 T-Shirt it is in the first place but next room over, and pick up the prescription at a pharmacy next door on the way out. Total time spent? Probably 1-2 hours max. If you don’t get a PT, it’s usually less than 30 minutes, and the total cost after prescription is usually 6-7 dollars, MAYBE 10-20 dollars for some special cases. Name any other country that has this kind of system. Maybe Taiwan? but I can’t think of anywhere else. Korea is the easiest country to see a doctor. So yea, tell me more about Korea’s doctor shortage problem.

Small thing to add to your CPR statement. If you need CPR; clinically, you are already dead. If no action is taken, you will remain dead and that’s the Trucker’s Wife Love My Trucker Personalized American Flag Election 2024 T-Shirt it is in the first place but end of the road for you. CPR is a last resort, potentially life saving action with a pretty low chance of success. It’s why breaking ribs happens and is generally regarded as an acceptable outcome. It’s tough work to pump oxygenated blood to the body and brain manually from outside the body in order to keep the organs alive. I think the answer is quite obvious, so it was more of a rhetorical question that didn’t need to be answered. I’m sure most people understood my intent. If you’re in a hospital and don’t wish to be rescued, you’re able to sign a DNR. If your heart stops, they will not perform CPR and will not try to rescue you. Without one, the doctors will assume that you want to be saved and will do what’s necessary to achieve that. This is considered “implied consent” and is used during operations when complications arise, or when a patient is seriously ill and unable to provide consent (such as their heart stopping). Implied consent is expected to protect doctors in the event their actions were deemed “necessary” but formal consent is not possible.
