Most of them have apprentice programs, and employers willing to employ people with no experience. Most blue collar jobs are trade jobs. Enroll at your local technical college in a trade you want to enter. Most programs are only two years and they tend to get you on the job before graduation . Look up a union in whatever you want to do or a recognized organization and reach out to them regarding apprenticeships. You must be setting your “blue collar” sites too high. I work on swimming pools. If you’ve seen a screwdriver before, you’re hired. The problem we have with hiring is one mentioned in your post: people with no experience expect to make the kind of money that it took me 5+ years of constant grinding to make. Alternatively any place without a serious apprenticeship program (either Union or internal training program) is going to be a shit place to work. That lack of upfront investment in your skill/efficiency/training should indicate how long they expect you to stick around and how much you’ll be compensated. Look up the United Association. It’s the umbrella Union that deals with welding, pipe fitting, plumbing and even HVAC. I’ve been in for 7 years, did a 5-year apprenticeship and it was the best choice of my life. You won’t find anything that will match the wage and benefits I can’t say for certain because I don’t work in the trades, but from what I’ve been told, you need some sort of training or apprenticeship.

Idk where you live but if you’re close to a shipyard you can start there. They are always hiring people with no experience. Might not be a job you would like but it gets your foot in the Transformers Autobots Cybertron! Since 1984 T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this Door. And you get to work on cool shit and see some cool stuff. Class 1 railroads have been hiring many locations like crazy. Union jobs. Paid training and OJT. Freight conductors are always in demand. Depending on where you live check Union Pacific, Norfolk Southern, BNSF, CSX, Canadian National. It is a lifestyle. Most conductors work 5-6 days a week, all shifts. They are paid well but they work hard for it. Find a CDL school. Most are roughly 3 weeks long followed by 1-2 months of OJT before you get assigned your own truck and start making money. Getting endorsements added to your license will open doors for you. Run solo for a year and that will open more doors for you including the local/home every day driving jobs. I got into a welding job, and a stonework job, both by being persistent af with no experience. Keep bugging them.
