You can always turn back and say “listen, I don’t think your fat, I think that style of dress doesn’t compliment you the Tovino Thomas Art shirt in addition I really love this way it should” and if she asks for more info, just respond with, “idk, it’s just not doing what the other dress is doing”. But back to the question, the correct response to is never to agree with “does it make me look fat?”. The correct response would be a positive spin on what you said in your comment (“…the dress wasn’t necessarily flattering…”), that is to say that dress B looked much nicer on her. Of course she could still take that badly (that she looked bad in dress A), but that’s on her. I always counter with “Are you looking for an honest compliment or an honest truth?” and then will answer accordingly. I have a different angle. Who here on Reddit is going to a ball. Next thing you know, you’ll be going to a gala. Gonna need another new dress for that I suppose.

Tovino Thomas Art shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

The fat makes you look fat. The tightness just accentuates the Tovino Thomas Art shirt in addition I really love this rolls and cellulite. Have you considered buying the correct size? She’s playing games. It’s BS. There’s no reason for women to ask these questions if they’re going to be offended. She sounds immature. You sure you want to date that kind of person? If I asked my husband if a dress made me look fat (I wouldnt) and he said yes, I would know it’s the dress not fitting being the issue. It’s not rocket science that people look best in clothes that FIT instead of clothes that don’t. Having a dress make one look fat doesn’t mean the dress makes them actually fat and it’s pathetic if she can’t tell the difference. You did nothing wrong, my wife would rather hear it from me before than somebody random after. But i guess i married a unicorn lol. Ah the classic catch-22. That’s when I’d bail out and refuse to offer an opinion on the grounds of self preservation. Nah, even that wouldn’t go down well. Buddy, you just can’t win or even draw sometimes.
