They also told me I’d get all the Top whale Washington Orca shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this photos in 30 days but I received them in 60 days, after I contacted them twice asking where they were… My videographer was also slightly disappointing. I paid for a 3-4 minute video and received 2:37… the video turned out really good and I loved it, but they added some cringe moments that I know we filmed multiple times. We filmed SO MUCH but most of it wasn’t added?? I’m just a bit salty because they made us sign a contract saying no one else would be filming or taking photos, so that is all we had. Zero pictures of my parents. I agree. I’m sure she got plenty of unpleasant photos. Most photographers don’t send you everything they take. To send 100 photos, I’m thinking he just sent everything he took, probably in JPEG instead of raw, and calls himself a photographer.

I think you should at least ask nicely if they will re-do the Top whale Washington Orca shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this photoshoot. You can just say hey look, I am not satisfied, and this is why. Give specific, useful examples. Can you come back and do another session (for free?). He might just say OK, come back, and do a better job this time, no need to do anything beyond that. This is a fantastic idea, but something tells me if he even would say yes to that, he would make it even more uncomfortable because he seems like the type of person who would take offense to it, regardless of how nice we word it. Normally you wouldn’t get ALL the photos from a shoot, only a handful of good ones so you can just pretend the really bad ones don’t exist. But it sounds like the “good” ones are not good enough. Personally, I’d ask for the RAWs, and get a more skilled Photoshop artist (lots of talented people on Fiverr) to try to make ONE perfect photo. Basically, take the one shot you think is the closest to ideal, and use that as the base. Then the artist can fix your eyes or expression by merging parts of other photos with it. Or using Photoshop’s Smart Portrait feature. Hopefully you can walk away with one decent portrait you can frame in your house or use as a Christmas card or something. By the sound of this, this dude will probably charge an arm and a leg for the RAWs. You’d likely be better off hiring a different photographer.
