Man I totally agree that they should have been gone LONG ago. I just don’t understand why people will defend a sub using a slur as a name so HARD. To me they were both bad in different ways with obvious TD being worse. I guess I don’t get why people aren’t saying look how well you did with banning r/waterniggas fast why didn’t you do that with TD. Instead it’s people being pissed for them banning r/waterniggas (which quickly went on to be a new popular and successful sub so no harm done on that front at least) and also mad at them for not banning TD. Those sentiments send 2 whole different messages to me. Banning r/waterniggas should be used as an example of something done right not something done wrong.

I guess you weren’t around back in the Tiler Because Architects Need Heroes Too T-Shirt in addition I really love this day? TD used to be on the front page all the time. Reddit literally rewrote the code (twice!) that determines what shows up on the front page in order to stop TD from getting there. I guess not then because I’ve never seen anything from TD that popular. So I guess what they did must’ve worked a little then. There was a time when they had days where they’d literally make up a good half of the first front page due to the way they were manipulating votes and pinned submissions. TD is obviously way less popular and tbh you sort of have to go looking for or stumble across their content. Their posts weren’t always on the front page. Misinformation how? Apparently as some other people have pointed out during its heyday it was way more popular. I’ve been on Reddit for 4 years and I’ve never saw anything from that sub on the front page unless it was some other sub linking something they said. I can admit it might just be my personal experience but I’m not misinforming anyone. Possible if you’re on an app you never would have seen it. My app shows me the front page of what I’m subscribed to, nothing else. I never see any of the popular subs unless I’m already subscribed to it. Which is fine by me. I don’t wanna see wholesomememes on my front page. Maybe this is why because I only use mobile. I did see some fairly popular posts from that sub a while ago. The name of the main page has changed a few times but I guess it would’ve been all then. I guess according to all these people that have responded to me I should count myself lucky I only got the limited exposure I did.
