I’ve heard and seen plenty over the This girl loves her fireman and Memphis Grizzlies shirt but in fact I love this years to know many schools still do their best to suppress and minimise issues unless ofsted or the police come knocking. I know from friends who were teaching staff, that chose to leave their jobs because of how much of a mess it all is. I’m one small example but there’s a reason people feel disillusioned by the education system in the UK and how they deal with difficult issues such as this. Also seems to be right, my kids school do fuck all unless police involved, one of my kids friends was bullied to the brink of suicide and all the school were interested in was making sure the bullies didn’t have any crisps or sugar in their pack lunch. Teachers dedicate their entire careers to teaching and safeguarding their pupils. Schools have robust safeguarding policies in place for situations like this and take it seriously.

I’d make the school take this bullying and digital assault seriously and not gloss over it. I had some online bullying in my class, and I asked the school IT to check their iPads. We met with all the parents whose children were involved, and the police gave a lecture to all the kids involved. The police were more than happy to help me get the message through to the kids. As a survivor of sexual abuse, there really needs to be better moderation and/or a bot response on certain responses. Call the police. People are distributing indecent images of your child.
