Cooking isn’t something you’re born with. You learn. The key is to actually try. 15 years later and I make food that would send melt your mind with how good it is and I regularly have dinner parties. It became a passion. It doesn’t need to be for someone to feed themselves. You deserve better than that. Good job. Find a man who you don’t have to walk through basic fucking things anyone over the This Changes Everything Lgbt Star T-Shirt besides I will buy this age of 25 should be capable of. All they need is the willingness to try and to learn but if they can’t even microwave food, then they are waaaaay past the point of no return. That’s willful ineptitude. You didn’t dump him because he can’t poach an egg. You dumped him because he’s not a functioning adult. He’s a child in a man’s body. You really ain’t got time for that. Stand your ground. No, you did the right thing. That man isn’t looking for a partner he’s looking for a mother. And you already have kid(s) to worry about you dont need a grown ass man child as well.

I think you did the This Changes Everything Lgbt Star T-Shirt besides I will buy this right thing. He wasn’t willing to do his part, wasn’t willing to learn, and was perfectly happy for you to be his mother. This is a big part of the reason my ex is my ex as well – this kind of attitude doesn’t typically change. You’re not a “massive bitch” for wanting an equal partner. You’ve got one less burden in your life now – enjoy your freedom. Everyone should at least be able to fry an egg, boil pasta. At some point I wonder if it’s just weaponized incompetence so that he never would have to. I totally agree, it’s a basic life skill. Like cleaning yourself or clothing yourself. He would say I was being judgy because I’m a very good cook. You did well by dumping him. Had the same type of bf but his issue was laundry (as well as every other chore). I showed him how to put the clothes into the machine and just press the damn button – it was too “complicated”. Truth is, some people dont want to burden themselves with learning if they can find a mother/slave to do it for them.
