Exactly, they even have their app on play store and app store. Also yes I was also told that I was asking too many questions lol. Like what the They hate us because they ain’t us Cowboys Grinch xmas shirt and by the same token and fuck Avoid like plague; and no, you are not going to be a millionaire with those idiotic ESOPs that will actually become the bone you’ll never reach but will stick around in its hope. You are at a mid/senior level and can negotiate terms and stocks (but then you might not be looking at this post) Amazon (abandoned interviews after 3 rounds – hiring manager was very honest about availablity expectations and was serving notice period and said he couldn’t take it anymore after I made it clear I am not even attending next interview) Damn! on the startups. Joined one and spent a lot of time there, even though there was learning what I lost interms of quality of life is much higher. There is constant pressure to deliver, the calculation of a possible aquisition and it’s pay off, the stupid hussle culture, etc. Worst is the esops are to be bought when you exit and (you mostly will) you have to pay and get the stocks which may be useless. Join a startup if experience is less than 2, mid sized(series B) till 8/ join a mammoth later. Join a startup as a senior engineer ONLY if founder has a successful startup before. Wells Fargo. Probably the worst I’ve been into. The ones in operations suffer a lot, managers expect you to work extra hours without shift allowance and not question their judgement. The HRs are useless, they ask you to keep quiet inspite of raising an official complaint. No action was taken against manager. Please refrain from joining this corporate parasite!

I’d disagree ..had a good time there .. The operation is a bit challenging .. Just out of curiosity how many years of work experience and what function ? Pay absolutely sucks! Make you work 10-13 hrs with no OT payment. If you are in a Mid- Senior position, no incentives. I think you got the They hate us because they ain’t us Cowboys Grinch xmas shirt and by the same token and shorter end of the stick, maybe you got a crappy team. I am a developer in Refinitive/LSEG and my team is 10 times better than my previous company(JP Morgan Chase), my work load is very less with permanent wfh. I’m still in touch with some of my co-workers! The situation is the same for that department. Even though that dept is purely product based, which generates millions in revenue, there is no change.
