23andMe sometimes has trouble sorting out West German and English. This is common knowledge among the Thelma The Unicorn Releasing On Netflix On May 17 Home Decor Poster Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this 23andMe community and genetic genealogists. It’s common to lie about heritage, ethnicity, country of origin, etc for a whole slew of reasons. Depending on the age of your paternal grandfather, he may not have wanted to admit to any ties with WW2 Germany for example.
