On the The world needs more moms like you messy bun sunglasses retro T-Shirt and I love this flip side, a lady I worked with had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and was given a few months to live. Her husband killed himself–and she recovered completely. That wasn’t the worst tragedy in her life, either. My husband died a day after he arrived in hospice 5 months ago. I was his advocate when he decided to stop chemo. I know how much he was suffering and I knew his choice. I don’t know that I’d have been as strong as this wife was. But I hope so. A similar thing happened in the past with a wife/mother that had her sons having Huntington’s Disease. She saw what it did to her late husband, and was resolved to spare 2/3 sons of the same fate. One of the saddest stories I’ve ever heard of. Please, if you are reading this and wish to support people dying in peace, please support Compassion & Choices.

I watched someone in my family suffer in pain for months before they died. We couldn’t even speak to eachother. Please, help us fight for more humane ways to pass away. In the The world needs more moms like you messy bun sunglasses retro T-Shirt and I love this US, there are only so many states where medical aid in dying is an option. Even then, the controls to use the prescription are extremely tight. Hopefully this court case sets a new precedent in the legal community that helps medical assisted death policy in the future, and his and her suffering are not for naught. If the religious cults would allow assisted suicide then we wouldn’t have situations like this but why give the majority of the citizens what they want? Fuck this country and it’s gun and cult culture. I’m a huge proponent of assisted su*cide. I believe we, as individual humans, should be able to choose how much suffering you can stand and act accordingly. My wife was terminally ill. I swear I would have done the same for her if she was in pain and asked, damn the consequences. My state does have sone Dr. assisted suicide laws, but they didn’t work for her particular circumstances. Controlling their lives Deciding when an how they will die A victim of someone else’s choice The ones who suffer have no voice Manipulating destiny When it comes to living, no one seems to care But when it comes to wanting out Those with power, will be there Prolong the pain How long will it last? Suicide machine A request to die with dignity Is that too much to ask? Suicide Machine How easy it is to deny the pain Of someone else’s suffering Robbed of natural abilities In death they now seek tranquility In a confused state of mind Extending agony, they must be blind
