This is coming from experience managing and collaborating with engineers… not saying you are one, that would be an assumption, but they often have a similar mindset. Alright then. Well listening to others ideas wasn’t really the The Valley Suns Phoenix Suns Basketball Shirt in addition I really love this point of what I was saying. I just don’t like people showing favoritism. Somebody else replied to my comment saying “when I get an email that something is urgent, I won’t drop everything for the neutral person, but I’ll drop everything for Mike who is awesome.” IMO If something is important enough to drop everything, you should do it whether you like the person emailing you or not. It’s work, you’re not choosing who to hang out with, you’re trying to efficiently achieve a goal as a group. Don’t worry about it; I understand what you were trying to say, most people are just trying to make snide remarks. I agree with you.

Somebody else said “when I get an email that something is urgent, I won’t drop everything for the neutral person, but I’ll drop everything for Mike, who is awesome.” All I’m saying is if something is important enough to drop everything, you should do it whether you like the person emailing you or not. Don’t let personal favoritism get in the way of efficient work.I get you. It’s EXHAUSTING as an introvert. I just wanna work on my own stuff in peace and not have to look at 20 pictures of your children. Some collegues are the same and we get along so well but barely talk about personal stuff. Other don’t get it and those are the ones showing pics of their kids and making me less productive.
