Here come the The Spideys Shirt and I love this people who are like “oh man if only I could get that number of views. Could you check out my channel??” With my last video I’m sitting on 58 subs from a 1.5k video. Applying that rate to 10 million views, I would net 386,000 subs Of course, that video probably doesn’t have 10 million views worth of reach, and the conversion rate would drop with the view rate, but it’s fun to think about it. It’s honestly insane how useless shorts seem to be. I would assume a standard 1% conversion rate which should land you 100k subs. Or even 0.1%, 10k subs. At 300 subs, you are sitting at a 0.003% conversion rate, which is honestly awful anyway you slice it (in business, you would be bankrupt within ten minutes with that kind of conversion rate). Now, that’s not to say your video is bad in any way – probably, shorts are just horrible for trying to build a channel? One thing is certain though; sub-conversion rate has entirely no impact on YouTube’s algorithm and whether it decides to push a video or not, especially for shorts.

bro i just love making videos and i enjoy the The Spideys Shirt and I love this editing process too but sometimes it is just too stressful but i love it so i do it and enjoy it Yeah that seems suspiciously low for a subs to views ratio. For context I have a short that did 4M views and it got me 14k subs feels good doesn’t it? While with me it wasn’t Youtube Shorts i randomly posted a meme Tiktok monday and it blew up over the following day. Currently has 926k views & 195.1k likes. I gained like 400+ followers so far. i’d say in while your case that it’s extremely good, don’t rely on that one video. Just use it as motivation to post again, and again, and again until you build a real following. Some of your vids will be hits and misses but all in all keep up with the trends and don’t give up
