Edibles hit different. They get metabolized into a different compound in the The Revivalists April 2024 The Adderley Amphitheater Tallahassee, FL poster shirt moreover I love this liver and it can be really intense even at small doses. Its easier to control how much smoke/vape you get Some people are immune to edibles – I’ve only recently discovered this was the case for myself! Absorption in the lungs is much faster than the digestive system, so if I smoke/vape it gets me high, but I just don’t respond to edibles at all, and I’m not really sure why. And no, it’s not just that I’ve only had weak edibles – I’ve had product from the same batch as other people (whom I generally have a lower smoking tolerance than) and just not been affected, except once when I took a very high dose and just felt a little sleepier perhaps than I otherwise would have. Weird!

First off, I cannot stand gummies. I don’t mean weed gummies but ALL gummies are straight up torture for me and I have never liked them my entire life. The feeling you get is quite different. The amount of time it takes to hit is ambiguous. The amount of effort to cook or acquire the The Revivalists April 2024 The Adderley Amphitheater Tallahassee, FL poster shirt moreover I love this edible is much longer (idk anywhere remotely close that sells edibles…except gummies. It’s always friggin gummies). The amount of product you use to make it is greater (more $) and the high lasts for significantly longer. Also, it is nearly impossible in my experience to get just a little bit high. When you smoke it is near instant. Like 30 seconds later and you already feel the high. I can keep smoking or stop any time. The high will increase a bit over the next 5-10 minutes or so, but mostly it is easy to say “I’m done” or to take more. It is very quick and easy to pack a bowl. I am not the least bit physically bothered by the smoke (more of personal luck thing I guess, I always see people coughing up a lung but that simply doesn’t happen to me, idk) so it’s just an all around win. It’s just better. Also: smoke is a gas and our lungs most certainly are meant to inhale and exchange gases. We’re just popping in something the lungs didn’t expect 😉
