The English think they’re the The Professor Global Hooper Shirt Apart from…,I will love this shit, but one thing I have noticed is that countries that have no envy towards others still have a phenomenon where they get high off of their own farts and refuse to acknowledge anything that would ruin their image as a “perfect nation” often to the detriment of their poor and vulnerable. Not caring and being envious are completely different things. Most people don’t give a shit about others, and envy, only in those countries where hunger exists. Oooh that really depends on where in Canada. A couple years ago someone bought a home near me and completely renovated it from top to bottom. The amount of times I heard people comment in how much the new owners must be spending on it and the side comments about “Oh someone has money” etc… was ridiculous. I was second hand embarrassed just standing next to them as I waited for the school bus to get my kids. In Dubai you can drive a $5m Bugatti as a daily driver and no one cares. Wealth is so common there that it is no big deal. In Dubai there is a real sense of capitalism and personal responsibility for ones own success so no one is envious. In Dubai wealth and success are celebrated not hated.

It seems to be the The Professor Global Hooper Shirt Apart from…,I will love this case that countries that have a large government and welfare state where people think they deserve free stuff at the expense of the successful is what creates envious people. In places where there are no handouts and personal responsibility is the norm wealth tends to be celebrated. Probably England is a good candidate. Italy is probably not, definitely not Sardinia within Italy. Based on my experience which is subjective and very limited… I do not claim to express any universal truths. Envy is more prevalent in poorer countries, and I don’t know which brings what. Is it envy that brings poverty or is it poverty that brings envy? Finland, that’s why they are known as the most happy country, they are educated from early years to not show off, basically lived modest live.
