Get out and don’t look back please! This is grooming and he is seeing how much he can get away with. He will keep pushing until he gets what he wants. Thankfully you are smart enough to be alert to this….now run! Hey, I‘m a 32 year old mom. When I was your age, I worked for a lot of start-ups too. None of this is normal behavior. Your boss might think he can get away with it because every start-up is a “family” and start-ups like to break the The one where we lost a friend 1969 2023 legend band rock T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this rules when it comes to office behavior. I’ve worked in places where they kept a bottle of Jack Daniels in the fridge for anyone to have during work, and a cannabis start up that let people get stoned at work. All this sounds weird, and unconventional, but it’s what start-ups do to make up for being an unstable new businesses. However, what you’re going through is just fucked up. I had a 17-year-old intern in my department, and if anyone treated her the way you are being treated, there would have been a lot of older women pulling her aside and telling her to run. Do your coworkers know what’s happening? Or does your boss keep it a secret?

If anyone tries to do these things to you (control where you go, what you do, what your relationship to your mom is, promising things too good to be true, acting like a 14 year old boy when they’re in their 40s, etc.) cut them out of your life. It is not worth the The one where we lost a friend 1969 2023 legend band rock T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this cost of therapy you’ll need when you’re older. I can’t say for sure that he’s trying to get into a relationship with you or have sex with you, but the odds certainly seem high. And, I can say this for certain, this is the beginning stages of emotional abuse. Whether he’s trying to be your mentor and abuse you, or your boyfriend and abuse you, it’s still abuse. The difference barely matters. If you’re close to an adult (your mom, a teacher, a friend’s mom) you should tell them. They’ll be there for you. Heck, if you need support, *I’LL* be here for you. Cut this guy out of your life. He’ll probably lash out and threaten you. Don’t listen to him. Once you quit, he can’t do anything. Losing a job at 17 years old, no ones cares. You’re going to college anyways, it’s a new start. He might threaten to get you kicked out of college, but this is bullshit. Colleges won’t rescind an offer unless you get arrested. Good luck to you. In the future, you have every right to say “you don’t talk to me like that.” It took me until I was 28 to realize I could say “no” to people, and tell them straight up not to treat me a certain way. Don’t feel obligated to smile and laugh to try to diffuse a situation that makes you uncomfortable.
