Plot twist: Her dad’s name is Dyatlov and mom had a shirt career as a spy/mistress working the The Looney Tunes Football Team Arizona Cardinals Shirt but in fact I love this Sovjet Union. Deep under the covers I have 1 adult tooth that came in without any enamel. It’s smaller, very rough, yellow, and softer. I got a crown on it at 10 or 11 so that I could get braces. My adult teeth grew through without much enamel, if any. It was horribly painful, I couldn’t eat or drink anything outside of room temp or mouth breathe in colder weather. Had multiple trips to the dentist to have enamel put on, been fine since. That was single digits, late 20s now and no problems. They’re not. I was born with enamel hypoplasia and neither me or my parents have been near any significant radiation.

I’ll go on a limb and say it wasn’t Chernobyl. People think radiation and then think mutations. But most mutations are common genetic scrambling. Radiation is generally more generic everything damage. I was told by my dentist that due to my mother having chicken pox in her 3rd trimester, my enamel failed to develop. This is the The Looney Tunes Football Team Arizona Cardinals Shirt but in fact I love this agent orange babies all over again – some kid’s born with birth defects and immediately points to a speculative cause even without much backing for it. She has much better odds of simply having been born with a shit roll on the genetic lottery than having been impacted by Chernobyl. Or, you know, her mother having abused substances or similar things while pregnant. Not that it wasn’t caused by Chernobyl, but it’s highly unlikely.
