I remember one year of my youth these stupid things were EVERYWHERELook up at the The Grinch Christmas the eras tour shirt but in fact I love this ceiling, and it would be coated. I live in Ohio, anyone remember that? I can’t remember the reason it happened, like if they’re kind of like cicadas or something? Idk but I lived with my sister in a house for 2 years and 100’s of them would cluster on my ceiling above my bed (I had high ceiling so I couldnt reach them), 1 year after living there my sister died so idk what it means or if its related but thats was my experience with ladybugs I live in Arkansas and I remember one time a huge swarm breezed through before winter and they found crazy and creative ways to hide all over the house. We must’ve vacuumed up a thousand of them over the next year. I think it was like 2016 if you can find articles of it. They hit everyone’s house like this. 116 more repliesThese guys covered a whole wall of a house I used to live in. Apparently they breed(?) on light colored cliffs in their native habitat.

I dont know the The Grinch Christmas the eras tour shirt but in fact I love this cause or much about it but when I lived in Tenneesee we had about 100000 of these suckers hit our house at a time. One entire side of every building on the street would be covered and you find thousands of dead ones for months afterwards inside and out. Asian lady beetles (Harmonia axyridis) were introduced by the US Department of Agriculture to help control crop pests like aphids. Suffered with an infestation of them the other year. Best advice I could give is vacuum them up and immediately empty the bag. Then everywhere they congregated, wipe down with warmed white vinegar to destroy the yellow residue they leave behind That’s just what they do in autumn/winter. They huddle together for warmth and look for crevices to do just that
