The reason sekiro is for its combat. Monster hunter series #2 because I grew up with the The glee cover is better shirt in addition I really love this series. Elden ring is 3rd. I still consider it as my favourite but combat wise I like sekiro. Nothing wrong with elden rings combat. It’s good as well but, I prefer skill other than skill+meta or something. Designing combat encounters where you can’t do anything because your in a constant state of stunlock isn’t “difficult but fair” Malenia is not only a good boss, but a great one. Maybe I have Stockholm syndrome because I look forward to fighting her on every playthrough Is that still true if you use ashes in Elden Ring? I beat ER and want to try Sekiro but I heard it’s much harder and less forgiving. I will admit I played through ER solo with no ashes or summons, and besides Sekiro it’s also my first souls like game so maybe that contributes to it. But at the same time idk I feel like I was still constantly getting my ass kicked in ER way more than I ever did on Sekiro. I feel like it was a lot tougher for me to grasp boss fights in ER than sekiro. If are accounting ashes and summons into the equation then I’d say yeah maybe it’s easier. Sekiro is still a really hard game don’t get me wrong and it has a very high learning curve. But with enough practice and understanding of the mechanics you can get it I HIGHLY recommend the game tbh, its honestly straight up one of my favorite games ever. The combat system is amazing, and the satisfaction of finally overcoming the challenges is unmatched. I got the feeling in ER when doing it with challenging bosses but it never compared to beating a boss in Sekiro, it was just another level of adrenaline for me I think most magic and incantations are terrible. Yeah there is the magic cannon thing that people can do with infinite FP for 10 seconds. But it’s so situational.

I get that from has done it this way forever, but a traditional multiplayer invite system needs to be fucking added in the The glee cover is better shirt in addition I really love this next game. I don’t care that bosses were reused. I loved the sense of exploring catacombs and seeing the boss corridor at the end would give me slight chills no matter what boss was awaiting me at the end. I didn’t feel like Elden Eing was too big, or the bosses repetitive. Once I got to Liurnia I started treating the caves and stuff like the chalice dungeons in Bloodborne: I’ll do it when I’m bored or if I’m feeling lucky to find something, because to be honest none of those caves had good loot (although I did feel bad that the Hero’s Graves of all places had some nice sets, that I only got near endgame) so nothing there felt essential. Also not only the caves a lot of the open world, I only found Langsseax after remembering he had appeared once and researching where to find him because I forgot to look at that place lol. The FOMO hit sometimes but I feel like the game has so much to look at. I get people’s complaints but, here might be the actual controversial take, I don’t think the game should have cut any content, at most I would change a boss fight here and there.
