Usually my vision goes red, I med up, and go back out to battle, but if I get shot too many times, I just respawn. Not too painful imo My adrenaline was so jacked I didn’t notice until I looked down and saw blood pouring out. Didn’t feel pain until I was almost to the The Eagles 90th anniversary 1933-2023 thank you for the memories signatures shirt and I will buy this hospital. Then it was almost unbearable. During recovering it from it, there was some kind of gel they put in it to clean it or help it heal faster. Now THAT shit hurt worse than the gunshot wound. It was like lava going through the hole. I was shot 4 times with a 9mm, hollow tip bullets. Hand, chest, side, and back. You don’t really feel anything because of adrenaline. But when you’re lying on the ground choking on your own blood you get very cold and very tired. It takes every ounce of strength to not go to sleep…aka die. I didn’t see a white light, but when it happened I was 13 and my life did flash before my eyes,as short as it was at the time. he shot 3 times and when I was on the ground I reached my hand up to him like asking “why” only to get shot again. I then played dead till he left. Once he did I told my little sister to run and get help when she saw me on the ground. She did and I reached over and grabbed my bed sheet to ball it up and press against my chest and side to try and stop the bleeding. When waiting for the ambulance my mother was shot as well. I told her I loved her then just lied there wondering what would happen when I died. I only said all this because the shooter left the house and chased after my sister so he wasn’t near. Idk if he was going to shoot her too or not but he didn’t..I guess he just fled and was caught a few hours later. Finally they showed up, cops stormed my house guns drawn and checked every room before stopping at me and asked who did this. I gave them the shooters full name and asked them to please help me.The recovery is hell. The first pain I felt from it was in the hospital. They couldn’t give me sedatives or pain medicine because it’s dangerous when you’re in that state and dying, so two large male nurses had to hold me down as they cut my side open and shoved a drainage tube into me to my lungs. I remember screaming so loud that after I woke up from blacking out my throat was raw and I was so thirsty. When you’re shot it’s not like the movies…you don’t stand there and take all the shots then fall..as soon as that first bullet enters you drop strait down to the ground hard, smacking the back of your head. I also remember the ambulance driver screaming in my face not to die and pushing down hard on my chest, then a huge sudden shock of pain which I assume was from those paddle things they shock you with and say “clear”. God damn..it’s been 18 years since this happened and typing all this made me tear up a little. I usually don’t talk about it much or get emotional often..but this was hard describing. Fuck I need a drink now or something, lol. Gotta bury these emotions again and drown the demons or smoke them out

When I was in college I met a guy at a bar, brought him home. Things started happening and when clothes came off I was like wtf, turned out he’d been shot multiple times a few weeks prior. He said he just felt heat and pressure. Was totally casual about it. I did not end up sleeping with him. I was hit in Afghanistan. The best way I describe it to people is somewhat similar to what people said here already. Imagine a knife that is red hot. The red hot metal you see from a blacksmith. Now put that red hot blade on the The Eagles 90th anniversary 1933-2023 thank you for the memories signatures shirt and I will buy this end of a baseball bat and have a major league baseball homerun derby winner swing it as hard as possible hitting you with it. An extreme punch followed by a searing burn. I laugh every time I see westerns where people are shot and they let out a small “ow” & then no pain after that.
