We have to understand what a dad bod is. Because men definition of dad bod and women’s definition is vastly different. When women sat dad bod, they are referring to a man with a good amount of muscle who happens to have a higher level of body fat. The fat lays on top of the The Downton Abbey Pub shirt in addition I really love this muscle making him look big and soft like a teddy bear. The problem is a lot of people confuse the dad bod with just a straight up fatass. Similarly how women do with “thicc” or “curvey” and being obese I have no idea. I’m attracted to my bf who I’ve been with for so long he may as well be my husband. He’s not fat, but he’s not perfectly sculpted either and has some stomach pudge and I find him very attractive, probably because he’s my partner and I love him. I’m not saying he’s ugly. Idk how to explain. Like the fact that he’s gained a bit of weight over the years doesn’t diminish his attractiveness to me because I love him. I also enjoy his personality just in general. So his body doesn’t really… matter?

Do I find them more attractive than a lean-muscled toned body? No, but only if thats the The Downton Abbey Pub shirt in addition I really love this only thing I’m judging. Like two pics of the same guy side by side and one is toned, then sure the toned guy “wins”. But If I have to choose between a man with a great personality, sense of humor, and dad bod, and some guy with a “perfect” body and slightly less great personality etc, dad bod guy wins for hotness all the way. And its not like I don’t like dad bod guys body, I do. It would only be upon the most shallow 2-D comparison to dad bod guy if he was standing next to his toned twin with the exact same personality that I would choose the toned one. Edit: I’m 43 now and have a literal mom bod since I have a 6 month old. But even when I was young and slender and objectively attractive, I chose to date men who often had a bit of fluff because I preferred the guy. How toned and lean someone was was never a factor. But overall attractiveness was.
