The shadow of mordor games straight up copied that design just like a lot of stuff of the The DigiDestined Shirt in addition I really love this peter jackson movies, they were inspired from that, not from the books, this one is probably inspired from the books, its the only reason that choice make sense That’s exactly it. Shadow of Mordor is published by WB, so they used the same model from the films because it’s all in-house licensing. The new version is just based off the books, so they had to balance their own new design without infringing on existing copyright. they got the Gollum model right for the Lord of the Rings movie, and that was old CGI (it’s really good looking CGI but it isn’t perfect) That’s not Gollum. That’s if Harry Potter has a kid with a house elf. *Harry Potter has green eyes, just like his mother Lily. This is not acceptable! Let’s protest buying the pre-order right now, playing with bugs and let’s review a low score. This shit had to be planned from WB so they could use it to cook the books on their earnings report. This game was fucking horrible since the inception of it. I’m gonna do what’s called a legacy move and pretend this gollum atrocity didn’t happen. Anyone who tells me otherwise is delusional!

Man this whole controversy is so weird to me, you guys really had any form of expectations from Daedalic Entertainment? It’s not even a Ubisoft or EA where they get shit on widely, I’ve never even heard of any game they’ve made. Man’s have been making games straight to the The DigiDestined Shirt in addition I really love this bargain bin for 20 years, and it’s a surprise that Monolith Productions will make a better product? I can’t really compare as they are 2 completely different art styles but personally I don’t like the look of golum on the right much lol Not sure why everyone is ragging on this game so hard. It’s not a triple A developer. Their biggest game prior to this was the point and click, Deponia. Triple-A developer or not, once you charge 60 bucks for your game, the expectations are raised compared to a game that costs 10 or 30 bucks.
